This is the work carried out by David, a very experience electrician. He was very helpful, courteous and informative, very efficient and explained everything to us. His fee was reasonable as well. We would definitely recommend him to anyone, a really good, trustworthy tradesperson.

Work David did for us:
I connected your 9kw electrical induction hob to a health 6mm electrical supply with the isolator switch just below it.

This circuit is protected by a B32 amp MCB and a 80 amp, 30 ma RCD safety device.

The rcd safety device was tested for sensitivity and it operated correctly. The trip times was also tested and it passed ok ( 1 delta 11.0/23.5 ms and 5 delta 12.9/22.9 ms ).

The incoming electricity supply at the cooker isolator was 248v with an earth reading, Zs of 0.01.

Thorough, informative, reliable. Fixed electrical fault on the day that I called and on the following day carried out an extensive assessment of the electrics in my flat fixing minor hazards that were identified, advising on future improvements which would enhance safety.

He was able to figure out how to install our ktichen lights which proved too tricky for other electiricans who looked at the job, and we are pleased with result. He has been very helpful.

Well done to Age UK for creating this business directory of checked and approved contractors. David was the third electrician who had visited my property to find an elusive fault with the downstairs sockets. He meticulously went through the fault finding process until he worked out where the problem was. He then did a very thorough job of not only fixing the fault but also of installing new and safer wiring and sockets. I was absolutely delighted with the work and David's overall professionalism, friendliness, trustworthiness and knowledge. He also made a special effort to fit me in around the bank holiday and came at very late notice. Compared to other electricians he also offers a very favourable hourly rate. I will certainly employ him again in the future and highly recommend him to other customers. He is new to this site so I hope that this review encourages people to get in touch and use his services.
